9 May 2012 – UN Global Compact calls on companies to commit to the future we want
The UN Global Compact, in partnership with the WBCSD, has announced a worldwide call for commitments to actions and partnerships that advance progress along the six core themes of the Rio+20 Corporate Sustainability Forum, to be held on 15-18 June 2012 in Rio de Janeiro.
8 May 2012 – Commission publishes call for proposals for sectoral CSR multi-stakeholder platforms
The overall objective of this call is to encourage and enable more European enterprises of the respective business sector across the EU to take a strategic approach to corporate social responsibility in cooperation with relevant stakeholders.

25 April 2012 – EuroCommerce debates sustainable fisheries with Commissioner Damanaki
The Alliance for Common Fisheries Policy Reform (EuroCommerce, EuroCoop, AIPCE, Euro-Toques and WWF) was invited by Commissioner Damanaki to participate in a debate on EU fisheries funds at the European Seafood Exposition, the world’s largest seafood trade event.
