2nd Annual Event of the Retail Forum for Sustainability on 10 November 2011

The 2nd Annual Event of the Retail Forum for Sustainability will take place in Brussels on 10 November 2011. The theme of this year's conference is "Resource Efficiency: a building block for green retail business". Keynote speakers are Commissioner for the Environment Janez Potočnik, EuroCommerce President Rainhardt von Leoprechting and ERRT President and CEO of Royal Ahold Dick Boer.
The Retail Forum's 2011 Annual Event will bring together participants from business, civil society and EU institutions to set out the retail sector's contribution to the resource efficiency agenda to create a fully sustainable European economy by 2050. This second Annual Event will take stock of the Forum's achievements since 2009 and will launch the new work plan that will continue addressing issues such as sustainable products, consumer behaviour and retailers' footprint.
The event will take place at the Musée des instruments de musique, Montagne de la Cour 2, 1000 Brussels from 14:30 to 17:30, followed by a cocktail. Further information including the programme can be downloaded here.
