EuroCommerce speaks at CSR conference

On 5 September 2011, EuroCommerce participated in the conference "Shared Responsibility - how to increase visibility and effectiveness of the EU CSR framework" in Gdansk, Poland. The conference was organised by the Polish Ministry of Economy and the Polish Responsible Business Forum. Speaking at a workshop on consumers, which was hosted by EuroCommerce member POHiD, EuroCommerce highlighted that consumer demand was the main driver for the increase of sustainable products and pointed out that own brand products were one way how retailers responded to this demand.
